Vauxhall remapping.

CDTi diesels and the turbo petrols — strong value gains, mapped mobile.

Tuning your Vauxhall

Vauxhall's CDTi diesels in the Insignia, Astra and Vivaro are heavily detuned from the factory for different trim levels, which means a Stage 1 remap often unlocks a surprising amount of torque for the money. The turbo petrols and the VXR models respond well too. Every Vauxhall is mapped to its exact ECU and proven on a logged drive.

Vauxhall models we tune

Corsa, Astra, Insignia, Mokka, Grandland and the Vivaro/Combo vans in 1.5/1.6/2.0 CDTi diesel and 1.2/1.4/1.6 turbo petrol, plus the Astra VXR and Corsa VXR for performance work.

Don't see your exact model below? It's almost certainly still a job we do — send your registration on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the stock figures, realistic Stage 1 gains and a fixed price, then bring the tune to your driveway anywhere across the East Midlands.

Stage 1 or Stage 2 for your Vauxhall?

For a standard Vauxhall, Stage 1 is almost always the right choice — it's written for your factory hardware and gives the best balance of gain, reliability and cost, with no parts to buy. Stage 2 only makes sense once you've fitted a downpipe, a sports cat, an uprated intercooler or an induction kit, because the file is written to exploit that extra airflow. We'll tell you honestly which suits your car and your goals; if you upgrade later, the Stage 1 price is credited against Stage 2. Either way the map is bespoke to your exact engine, never a generic flash.

What every Vauxhall remap includes

Every job starts with a full OBD health check and a live-data baseline log, so we only ever tune a car that's fit to be tuned. We then read and archive your original ECU file to two places, write the VIN-specific calibration, and verify it on a logged road test on your local roads — watching boost, fuelling, timing and temperatures in real time. You get a before/after summary, a 30-day peace-of-mind warranty and your original file kept safe for a return to factory any time. It's all fully mobile, with a fixed price agreed from your registration before we book, and no call-out charge across our East Midlands service area.

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi

170 → 205 bhp · 400 → 450 Nm
Stage 1 £300 – £350

A very common company car around Nottingham and Derby, the Insignia 2.0 CDTi has a lazy throttle and soft mid-range from the factory. A Stage 1 wakes it up considerably — stronger in-gear pull and a much more responsive pedal.

Vauxhall remapping · FAQ

Is an Insignia CDTi remap worth it?

Very much so — the 2.0 CDTi is detuned across trims, so a Stage 1 typically adds strong mid-range torque and makes the car feel a class above, often with better cruise economy.

Do you remap Vivaro vans?

Yes — the Vivaro (shared with Renault Trafic and Peugeot/Citroën) gains useful loaded torque and is a regular fleet job for us.

How much does a Vauxhall remap cost?

Stage 1 is typically £250–£350. Send your registration for a fixed, model-specific price.
